Heatsaver first aid/CPR/AED

 

AHA’s Heartsaver course designed to prepare students to provide First Aid, CPR, and use of AED in a safe, timely and effective manner. This is an instructor-led training conducted in a classroom setting.

Heartsaver courses are intended for are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting

Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration and a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.

Heartsaver First Aid – In class

The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner

This course is designed according to the AHA guidelines for CPR and ECC. Students will learn First aid basics, Medical emergency management, injury emergencies, and Environmental emergencies.

Throughout the course, the Instructor will lead video-based lessons and work with students to complete their first aid, skills practice, and testing. The classroom-based format will include hands-on training to reinforce skills proficiency.

Materials:

Students will be provided with a manual which contains a new Heartsaver First Aid Quick Reference Guide summarizing first aid actions for many injuries and illnesses.

Certification:

Students who successfully complete this course will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card (valid for two years).
